Read a book! -Connor Franta
Hey lovely readers and welcome back to Take A Shot Blog!
As you can tell by the title of this blog, this is about books. I’m a frequent reader but as this blog is in English I chose out the best English books I’ve read so far. Let’s get started!
- GIRL ONLINE and GIRL ONLINE ON TOUR by Zoe Sugg aka Zoella
Girl Online and Girl Online On Tour is a book series written by Zoe Sugg. It’s a story about Penny Porter, a girl with a blog who’s very clumsy, loves photography and writing. On her blog, which is called Girl Online, Penny blogs about her feelings, pannick attacks and Brooklyn Boy, the beautiful and talented guy she meets during this amazing story.
I think the book is amazing, it’s fiction but it’s a relatable kind of fiction. You will learn about life, how it’s not always that easy and it’s fine. I highly recommend you reading this!
- PAPER TOWNS by John Green
We all know him, the man himself, John Green and he’s my favorite writer ever! Paper towns is a story about Margo Roth Spiegelman who’s tired of being a paper girl in a paper town. While her neighbour Quinten is head over heels in love with her, she doesn’t notice and goes on with her I-do-what-I-want-and-no-one-can-stop-me kind of life. When Margo appears by Quinten’s window like old times, they go on one last adventure before she leaves the city for good. Margo ‘Mystery’ Roth Spiegelman is known for her running away and even her parents don’t care anymore when she does but as always she leaves clues behind for people so they would know where she is and that she’s okay. Quinten is sure the clues are meant for him and goes looking for her with his closest senior year friends…
Hands down for this book, it’s my favorite book of all times, the story is full of adventure and love. Even though there’s been made a movie out of this book, I find the book way better. What I also like about the shape of the book is that it’s small and literally fits everywhere to go with you, that’s why books with paperbacks are the best. The font which it’s written in is also very pleasant. GO READ IT!!!!!
- THE FAULT IN OUR STARS by John Green
There he is again, John Green with this beautiful cancer story about Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters. Hazel is a beautiful young adult biting it from cancer. When she gets sent to a support group for cancer diseased people she literally walks in to the handsome one-legged Augustus Waters. Augustus is a real gentleman and also has a crazy side. Hazel Grace and himself have this epic love story with their ups and downs. When cancer tears them apart, love is the strongest thing that’s left.
Again, wonderful book, wonderful story and amazing author. If you haven’t read this book at least once in your life then you’re missing out. I would also want to advise you to read the book first before watching the movie, you’ll understand it better.
On my bookshelf but still need to read:
