Homemade Virgin Mojito

Hello lovely reader!

Are you a person that enjoys drinking cocktails? Something without alcohol for a hot summer day? STAY HERE because it’s about to get very interesting for you. I’m going to give you the perfect recipe for a Mojito without alcohol also known as a Virgin Mojito.

(ps: as I’m writing this I’m secretly sipping from this lovely creation, oops)

Let’s go!

Ingredients -(4 ppl)

  • fresh mint leaves
  • 2 limes
  • 3 cans of Sprite
  • cane sugar

  • a jug
  • a chopping board
  • a knife
  • a tablespoon
  • 4 glasses/jars

You’ll first need to tear about 40 leaves off of the mint plant and put them as a base layer in the jug. Don’t go easy on the leaves, you can crush them a little for better flavor.

You then take two limes and cut them into tiny quarters. Put those on top of the mint leaves in the jug.

Take your tablespoon in hand and pour 8 spoons of the cane sugar with the mint and lime. (don’t put a tower of sugar on there, just a layer). I know 8 sounds like a lot, which it kind of is but it makes it sweet which is perfect for a drink like this.

The final step is to pour the cans of sprite in the jug, stir it and DONE! You can add icecubes if you like. Pour your creation in the 4 glasses/jars and enjoy the fresh taste of your Virgin Mojito!

Sunny and tasty greetings
